Pay per meeting vs an SDR.
An SDR costs the same whether they book two meetings a month or twenty.
The math
Take a fully loaded SDR cost of $85,000 a year, about $7,100 a month. If that SDR books eight held meetings a month, each meeting costs about $885. At four held meetings, about $1,770. These are assumptions you can replace with your own numbers.
With Meetings Held, eight held meetings in a month cost $3,300. Four cost $2,100. Zero cost $900.
| Point of comparison | In-house SDR | Outsourced SDR seat | Meetings Held |
|---|---|---|---|
| Fixed monthly cost | Salary, tools, management | Seat fee, billed monthly | $900 |
| Variable cost | None | None, or small bonuses | $300 per held meeting |
| Ramp time | 2 to 3 months typical | Varies | First sends week 3, first held meetings weeks 4 to 6 |
| Risk of zero meetings | Yours | Yours | Mine, except the tech fee |
| Tools, domains, data | You buy and manage | Sometimes included | Included in the $900 |
